It all started in the early 1950s in the Piedmont section of North Carolina. Charlie Tise began building homes and apartments in and around the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. As his business grew, he taught his sons the ins and outs of the construction business. Roger Phillips was one of those sons.
Roger established himself as a custom home builder in the Piedmont area of North Carolina during the booming residential market of the 1960s. He also developed a reputation and expertise for historical restoration of log homes. He has worked on many high profile restoration projects in the historic Bethabara and Old Salem communities in Winston-Salem, NC. I was able to accompany my father on many of these projects and began to learn a variety of skills at a very young age.
By the early 1990s, I began to sharpen my construction skills and understand the finer aspects of managing a construction business. After obtaining my General Contractor’s license, I earned a bachelors of science degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
In 1996, I officially assumed reigns of the business. Over the years I have expanded our service offerings to become a comprehensive provider of residential construction services. Whether it is large scale project like a turnkey home or something as small as hanging a picture in your apartment, I do it. You will find my workmanship to be exceptional and my pricing extremely competitive. I look forward to helping you on your next project.
